And City Government?
A Civics Lesson On
How To Solve A Problem

We can all get confused sometimes when trying to figure out which level of government handles which kind of issues. And then to make matters even more complicated, how do we find out within the level of government, who is the correct authority to ask? This forum will answer these questions and give the audience the tools and know-how to decipher the maze of bureaucracy. We are not solving the issues at hand today (that will be another forum/town hall in the future!), but we are learning about the process and how to find the correct contact!

All are welcome to attend our meetings.
You are eligible to vote at a meeting if:​​
  1. You are a registered to vote as a Democrat in the 69th Assembly District (or an area that used to be in the 69th AD before redistricting)
  2. Have attended one of the club's last nine meetings
  3. Have paid your membership dues for 2023 and
  4. Haven't voted in any other club in 2023

​We are the official Democratic Club in the 69th Assembly District, Part C, which covers most of the area between West 106th and West 125th Streets, Central Park West/Frederick Douglass Blvd to Riverside Drive.  This includes Morningside Heights, parts of Manhattan Valley and the UWS, southwest Harlem, and Manhattanville.  We believe in government that cares for people.


​Our meetings happen on the 2nd Thursday of the month (except for January when it's on the 3rd Thursday).
 We will continue meeting on Zoom until we decide it's safe to gather in person.
​We invite your participation and your comments.  Join us!
