  • What: Join us for Grassroots Democracy in Action!
  • When: Saturday, October 18th, 10am-noon
  • Where: Morningside Park Farmers' Market
  • How: We'll be registering new voters and sharing information about Zohran Mamdani, the rest of our Democratic candidates, and the Ballot Questions that will appear on the November ballot. We'll be tabling on Saturdays (and some Sundays) until the General Election. Text Paula at 917-757-6058 to let us know you’re coming. That way we can plan materials—and reach you if the weather changes. Come meet neighbors, build community, and help strengthen our democracy!

  • What: Rally Against Williams NESE Fracked Gas Pipeline
  • When: Friday, October 31st, 1-2pm
  • Where: Verdi Square (Broadway & 72nd Street)
  • Why:  Call on Governor Hochul to stand up to Donald Trump and block the Williams NESE fracked gas pipeline!  Special guests include Congressman Jerry Nadler and Assemblymember Micah Lasher.

  • Monday, October 20th: Change of Address Deadline (Changes of address for General Election must be received by the BOE on this date)
  • Saturday, October 25th:
    • Voter Registration Deadline (Last day application must be received by board of elections to be eligible to vote in the General Election)
    • Vote My Mail Application Deadline (Last day for board of elections to RECEIVE application or letter of application by mail or online portal for General Election ballot.)
  • Saturday, October 25th - Sun, November 2nd: Vote early in person before Election Day! Find your early voting site and hours here
  • Monday, November 3rd: Vote By Mail Application Deadline—In person (Last day to apply in person for General Election ballot.)
